The Boat is at Somerset

This weekend we took the boat up to Somerset.  All Set is resting comfortably at it's new digs...

And who wouldn't rest comfortably here?

Aside from doing a lot of work around camp,

We took to boat on its maiden voyage to Day's Store.  This did not disappoint.  So much fun taking the boat to the store or the ice cream shoppe or to get donuts early in the morning.

I don't think this will ever get old.

Okay, you get the idea.

We were missing a few {Debbie, Jean and Kelsey} of the family.  The presence was definitely missed and as we promised we did not explore everything yet.  We saved the majority of the lake {we only went back and forth to Day's store} and we did not see a sunset on the boat.  That will all wait until next week.

Early in the morning, I sit outside by myself and just can't believe the beauty and tranquility of what is in front of me.  

First weekend at camp

The first weekend sleeping at camp did not disappoint. 

The weather was beautiful.

The lake was peaceful.

The water was warm.

The football was thrown a million times.

The ducks were friendly {Emily, Amy and Melissa}.

The boys were so excited {one was too excited and could not calm down :(}

The fire was cozy and the smores delish.

The loons danced.

The house is cute.

The smiles were abundant.

The mooring was calling for the boat.

The sunset was breathtaking.

The sunrise was spectacular.

The wildlife was abundant.

The fish nibbled at toes {haha}.

The family was the best.

The weekend did not disappoint and has only made me looking forward to many, many more.

New Dock

The new dock is in!  

Now all we need is the boat and us...

I can picture us all chilling on that dock!

The Street side yard is over grown.  

Can you say, "has not been touched in two years"!

There is a lot of work to do, but overtime it will be a beautiful area to play.

Somerset is clean,

in 2 weeks we will move furniture in

and then we will be spending lots of days making memories on Long Pond.
