The beginning of Winter

It's beginning to look a lot like Winter at camp.

In no time the lake will be frozen and Nolan will be practicing hockey on the lake!

Take Two

After several weeks of sweat equity, camp looks better than we could have imagined.   

Warm and cozy for Xmas. 

Trevor and Nolan's room is coastal and charming.  

New Xmas wreath.   With skates.

Bev rob griff room looks great but they may need some art.  

Here's to hoping all ten of us are together here post-thanksgiving.

Can't Wait

I can't wait for this weekend.

It has been two weeks and I miss this place 

and mostly I miss my people.

Weekend come quick.

Loving life on Long Pond

We had a great time exploring our new lake.

We checked out all the beautiful lake front houses.

We went under the bridge, but not this bridge

to {lower} Long Pond.

We went to {the first 15 minutes of} Movies on the Pond with popcorn in hand.  It was too hard to hear the movie.

We danced at the annual Dam Jam {soooo much fun}

We danced at our personal Dam Jam.

We jumped and jumped off the boat.

We found many excuses to go to Day's Store via boat {donuts, ice, peroxide, sweat shirts. etc}

We admired the beauty.

Most importantly, 

we smiled

and smiled!

The Boat is at Somerset

This weekend we took the boat up to Somerset.  All Set is resting comfortably at it's new digs...

And who wouldn't rest comfortably here?

Aside from doing a lot of work around camp,

We took to boat on its maiden voyage to Day's Store.  This did not disappoint.  So much fun taking the boat to the store or the ice cream shoppe or to get donuts early in the morning.

I don't think this will ever get old.

Okay, you get the idea.

We were missing a few {Debbie, Jean and Kelsey} of the family.  The presence was definitely missed and as we promised we did not explore everything yet.  We saved the majority of the lake {we only went back and forth to Day's store} and we did not see a sunset on the boat.  That will all wait until next week.

Early in the morning, I sit outside by myself and just can't believe the beauty and tranquility of what is in front of me.
